Congratulations to Dana and Cody on your recent engagement!!
I actually know Cody because his cousin was my best friend growing up! I actually photographed her wedding last year, so Cody reached out to me about his upcoming wedding in October!
I am so thrilled that I got the pleasure of meeting Dana and Cody, again.
When we were corresponding about details, I asked them if there was a place that was special to them that we could shoot their engagement session. Cody immediately mentioned Down on the Farm Creamery in Strasburg.
Can you guess why??
Well… Cody is from Harrisburg and Dana is from Philadelphia — they met up at the Creamery for their first date as it was halfway!! HOW CUTE IS THAT?!
I always love when my clients pick a location that has significance to them because it’s usually a new place for me to photograph, and more importantly, these images will not only hold special value to them because they’re their engagement photos… but because the location in the engagement photos is sentimental to them.
It was really neat to get to know Cody and Dana more before the session began. They are so cute together. It was fun learning how they came to this place, where both their paths have crossed, and soon they’ll be creating one path together. The way they looked at each other and the way they spoke kindly and sweetly to one another.. It just made my heart so happy. This is why I love meeting couples!
I am SO PUMPED for y’alls wedding in October!! I really am honored to assist in a small part of your journey. I cannot wait to capture some gorgeous moments of your WONDERFUL day. Weddings are amazing, but marriages … That is really what excites me… To see Cody and Dana commit their lives, their hearts, their all to one another — there’s just nothing more beautiful than that. It’s so sacred and so holy.
