Dan & Heather & Charley // Winter Lifestyle Family & Maternity Session in York, PA
Dan and I had been trying to schedule a day that worked to do Heather's maternity photos for a couple weeks, and the two times we had a day picked out, it would rain! It was supposed to snow to which we both agreed we would still try for the photo shoot, but it would warm up and turn to rain. Boo!
So by a stroke of luck, we scheduled the photo shoot for a third time and, once again, "they" were calling for snow! But it was supposed to actually be SNOW this time. I said, YASSS!!!!!!! I love snow pictures!!
I met Dan, Heather, and Charley at the Samuel S. Lewis State Park on a beautiful, overcast, cold Saturday afternoon.
With Heather being a few weeks away from the due date in April, she was a trooper! I apologized for how cold it was to which she replied it was perfect for her hot flashes.
Thinking back on my own pregnancy just a 3 months ago, I could totally relate!
You know who else was a trooper though?? CHARLEY! But I think that was mostly because Dan and Heather kept saying "Eww.... Butts!" and it would always get her to giggle. Little girl after my own heart.. I love that child-like humor; that must've been why we got along so well :)
So in the end, the timing of the snow was perfect. We got out of the park just in time before the roads got too bad, and this sweet family of three [soon to be four] made the snowfall fifteen times more fun. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!
